The Building Contractors Association of New Jersey (BCANJ) has been in existence since 1937. BCANJ is the recognized building chapter in New Jersey for the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) and is the largest general building contractor/construction management organization in the state.

BCANJ's members are responsible for billions of dollars in public and private non-residential construction projects annually and employ tens of thousands of skilled craftworkers statewide.

BCANJ works to raise the standards for contractors so private owners, public entities and New Jersey's taxpayers benefit from quality, well-built facilities completed on time and within budget.
